Group Overhaul - IMPORTANT
Due to the way that this group has developed, I feel that we are now in need of a major adjustment to the way the group is run.
Firstly, Folder Managers and Moderators will be combined into one role, which will be Moderators. Due to the amount of losses we've had from our admin team, we will also be needing some more volunteers to moderate the submissions. All you would need to do is read through pieces submitted, and vote 'yes' or 'no' on them. If you're interested simply send us a note, letting us know why you're interested and what you think you could bring to the group. Further details will be given to those who are successful. For now,
New Folder and Opportunity for Book Cover
As you may have noticed, we have opened a new folder, titled 'synopses'. This is a folder for your summaries and blurbs, to maybe encourage and entice a wider audience. All group guidelines still apply, and only three per week may be permitted.
If you have any questions about this folder, please ask.
With regards to this new folder, we have received an offer from monjonesart (https://www.deviantart.com/monjonesart), who would like to work with one of our writers to create them a cover for their work. We will be using the synopses folder to make a choice.Copyright would remain with the artist, however the author would be permitted to publish the cover with their select work.

Secret Santa
With christmas coming up, we will be doing a secret santa event. In accordance with the results of our recent poll, we will be doing two events - one for critiques, and one for short stories/poems.
Those who choose to participate will be assigned a name, and they then have to either create a poem or story for them, submit it, and send a note or a comment to let them know. For critiques, pretty much the same, except instead of creating a story/poem, you should go to their page and leave a critique on one of their lit pieces (note: please do not sign up for this event if you do not want genuine critique and/or cannot take constructive criticis
